NCIt note : ACK1 is a binding partner and inhibitor of the GTP-bound form of CDC42. Interaction between GTP-CDC42 and ACK1 inhibits both the intrinsic and GAP-stimulated GTPase activity of CDC42. Alternative splicing of the CDC42 gene results in the placental and brain isoforms.;
