du haut potentiel sur le bégaiement et sur la prise en charge orthophonique;
This study
focuses on stuttering in people with high potential, often observed by speech therapists
but rarely studied. It seeks to determine whether the announcement to the patient
of his high potential can have repercussions on his stuttering and on his accompaniment
in speech therapy. First of all, after a presentation of current theoretical knowledge
on stuttering and high potential, the link between these two diagnoses is broached.
Then, to highlight the potential repercussions of this announcement, interviews are
conducted with patients and a questionnaire is submitted to speech therapists. The
confrontation of the results reveals on the one hand the importance of identifying
high potential and on the other hand positives repercussions of the announcement on
the stuttering. Their analysis also shows the benefit of taking this factor into account
in the therapeutic project. Based on these findings, some possible therapeutic adaptations
are proposed to meet the particular needs of these patients.;
