NCIt definition : A regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, prednisone, and
high-dose methotrexate used to treat aggressive forms of non-Hodgkin lymphoma; also
used as primary treatment of AIDS-related and high-risk Burkitt's lymphoma. Intrathecal
cytarabine and methotrexate are included in this regimen as either prophylaxis or
treatment for central nervous system (CNS) involvement.;
