Part of a complex involved in meiotic and mitotic homologous DNA recombination repair, RAD54B plays a critical role in targeted integration and recombination in concert with other RAD52 epistasis group members without affecting cell growth, sensitivity to DNA damaging agents, or sister chromatid exchange.;
