NCIt synonyms : Vascular Endothelial Growth Inhibitor; VEGI; TNFSF15; TNF Ligand-Related Molecule 1; VEG Inhibitor; TNF Superfamily Ligand TL1A;

NCIt definition : Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 15 (251 aa, 28 kDa) is encoded by the human TNFSF15 gene. This protein plays a role in both the inhibition of angiogenesis and the induction of apoptosis.;

NCIt note : Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 15 is a TNF-related type II transmembrane protein, with an extracellular C-terminus, a single transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail.
