Preferred Label : Pan-HER Inhibitor FCN-411;
NCIt definition : An orally bioavailable pan-human epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR; HER) tyrosine
kinase inhibitor, with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon oral administration,
pan-HER inhibitor FCN-411 targets, binds to and inhibits human epidermal growth factor
receptors (HER) EGFR (HER1; ErbB1), HER2 (neu, ErbB-2), HER3 (ErbB-3) and HER4 (ErbB-4),
and including EGFR activating and resistance mutations such as EGFR T790M/L858. This
inhibits downstream signaling leading to the inhibition of proliferation of tumor
cells that overexpress these receptors. EGFR family members play key roles in regulating
cell proliferation and differentiation, and are overexpressed in many different tumor
cell types.;
