NCIt note : Lysine-specific demethylase 7A demethylates dimethylated lysine-27 of histone H3 (H3K27me2) and monomethylated lysine-20 of histone H4 residue (H4K20Me1). This enzyme binds to trimethylated lysine-4 of histone H3 (H3K4me3) and can only demethylate dimethylated lysine-9 of histone H2 (H3K9me2) when it is not bound to H3K4me3. (UniProt);
