" /> Calcium-Transporting ATPase Type 2C Member 1 - CISMeF

Preferred Label : Calcium-Transporting ATPase Type 2C Member 1;

NCIt synonyms : EC 7.2.2.10; Ca(2 )/Mn(2 )-ATPase 2C1; SPCA1; ATPase 2C1; ATP2C1; Secretory Pathway Ca(2 )-Transporting ATPase Type 1; ATP-Dependent Ca(2 ) Pump PMR1;

NCIt definition : Calcium-transporting ATPase type 2C member 1 (919 aa, 101 kDa) is encoded by the human ATP2C1 gene. This protein is involved in ATP-dependent transport of Ca2 and Mn2 that modulates the secretory pathway.;

NCIt note : Calcium-transporting ATPase type 2C member 1 is expressed as at least 9 isoforms due to alternatively splicing; most fall into two major categories, ATP2C1A and ATP2C1B. The A and B isoforms have different C-terminal sequences but are expressed in the same tissues. (OMIM and UniProt);
