NCIt definition : A cancer peptide vaccine composed of a fusion peptide derived from the fusion protein
DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 1-cAMP-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit
alpha fusion protein A (DNAJB1-PRKACA) that is encoded by the DNAJB1/PRKACA fusion
gene, with potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration,
the DNAJB1-PRKACA fusion kinase peptide vaccine may induce CD8 T cell- and CD4 T cell-mediated
immune response against tumor cells expressing the DNAJB1-PRKACA fusion protein, which
may result in the inhibition of proliferation in these tumor cells. The DNAJB1-PRKACA
fusion protein is expressed in all fibrolamellar carcinoma (FLC) tumors and plays
a key role in FLC tumorigenesis.;
