" /> Adhesion G Protein-Coupled Receptor L3 - CISMeF

Preferred Label : Adhesion G Protein-Coupled Receptor L3;

NCIt synonyms : Latrophilin 3; Lectomedin-3; Calcium-Independent Alpha-Latrotoxin Receptor 3; ADGRL3; Lectomedin 3; Latrophilin-3; CIRL-3;

NCIt definition : Adhesion G protein-coupled receptor L3 (1447 aa, 162 kDa) is encoded by the human ADGRL3 gene. This protein plays a role in G protein-coupled receptor signaling, neuronal migration and cell-cell adhesion.;

NCIt note : Adhesion G protein-coupled receptor L3 contains an extracellular S-lectin-like domain, followed by an olfactomedin domain, a mucin-like stretch, a cysteine box near the plasma membrane, 7 transmembrane domains, and a short intracellular tail. The cysteine box includes a potential proteolytic cleavage site that would yield 2 subunits, an extracellular subunit and a seven-transmembrane subunit. (OMIM and UniProt);
