NCIt definition : A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(10;11)(p12;q23) which
fuses the 5' half of the MLL gene to the 3' half of the MLLT10 gene. This rearrangement
is associated with acute myeloid leukemia.;
NCIt note : The presence of this fusion gene is associated with a poor prognosis.; The translocation t(10;11)(p12;q23) is frequently accompanied by an inversion inv(11)(q13q23)
which results in an MLLT10/CLP1 fusion gene.;
