cells of glial origin that show marked nuclear pleomorphism. The diagnosis also depends
on findings of tumor necrosis, and vascular endothelial proliferation. Frequently,
tumor cells are arranged radially about an irregular focus of necrosis. These neoplasms
grow rapidly, invade extensively and aggressively.;
