NCIt definition : A trispecific T-cell engager and antibody targeting the tumor-associated antigen (TAA)
CD19, the T-cell surface antigen CD3, and the T-cell specific surface glycoprotein
and co-stimulatory molecule CD28, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic
activities. Upon administration, anti-CD19/anti-CD3/anti-CD28 trispecific antibody
CC312 targets and binds to CD3 and CD28 on T-cells and CD19 expressed on tumor cells.
The resulting cross-linkage may trigger a potent cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response
against CD19-expressing tumor cells. CD19 antigen is a B-cell specific cell surface
antigen overexpressed in B-cell lineage malignancies.;
