NCIt definition : A bispecific antibody and T-cell engager directed against the tumor-associated antigen
(TAA) receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1) and the CD3 antigen found
on T-lymphocytes, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities.
Upon administration, anti-ROR1/CD3 T-cell engager NVG-111 binds to both CD3 on cytotoxic
T-lymphocytes (CTLs) and ROR1 found on ROR1-expressing tumor cells. This activates
and redirects CTLs to ROR1-expressing tumor cells, which results in the CTL-mediated
death of ROR1-expressing tumor cells. ROR1, also known as neurotrophic tyrosine kinase,
receptor-related 1 (NTRKR1), is expressed during embryogenesis and in many types of
hematological malignancies. It plays key roles in tumor cell proliferation and survival.;
