Preferred Label : Autologous Anti-MG7-CAR T-Lymphocytes;

NCIt synonyms : Autologous MG7-CART; MG7-targeted Chimeric Antigen Receptor T Cells; Autologous Anti-MG7 CAR-T Cells; Autologous MG7-CART Cells; Autologous Anti-MG7-CAR T Lymphocytes;

NCIt definition : A preparation of autologous, engineered T-lymphocytes that express both a second-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) specific for the human gastric carcinoma-associated antigen MG7, and the co-stimulatory molecule 4-1BB (CD137), with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon intratumoral injection, the autologous anti-MG7-CAR T-lymphocytes target and attach to cancer cells expressing MG7. This induces selective toxicity in and causes lysis of MG7-expressing tumor cells. MG7, a glycosylated protein sequence from the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), plays a key role in the development of certain tumor cell types. 4-1BB enhances T-cell activation and signaling after recognition of MG7.;
