" /> Perilipin-3 - CISMeF

Preferred Label : Perilipin-3;

MeSH definition : A perilipin that localizes to LIPID DROPLETS; CYTOPLASM; ENDOSOMES; and PLASMA MEMBRANE, especially in MACROPHAGES. It functions as a transporter of free fatty acids to lipid droplets to promote their biogenesis and growth. It is also required for the transport of the MANNOSE-6-PHOSPHATE RECEPTOR from endosomes to the TRANS-GOLGI NETWORK. Its structure consists of four helix bundles that interact with the hydrophobic lipid droplet surface.;

MeSH synonym : Perilipin 3; TIP47 Protein; Protein, TIP47; 47 kDa Mannose 6-Phosphate Receptor-Binding Protein; 47 kDa Mannose 6 Phosphate Receptor Binding Protein; Tail Interacting Protein of 47 kDa; 47 kDa MPR-binding Protein; 47 kDa MPR binding Protein; Cargo Selection Protein TIP47; Placental Protein 17; Mannose-6-Phosphate Receptor-Binding Protein 1; Mannose 6 Phosphate Receptor Binding Protein 1; PLIN3 Protein; Protein, PLIN3; Perilipin 3 Protein; Protein, Perilipin 3;
