ICD-11 definition : Folliculotropic mycosis fungoides (MF) is a rare subtype of mycosis fungoides with infiltration of the hair follicle epithelium by neoplastic T-lymphocytes. It can have a variable presentation which includes focal hair loss, boggy plaques or nodules, acne-like cysts and comedones, often on the head/face. These are often associated with classical MF patches and plaques. It has a worse prognosis than classical MF and does not respond well to topical therapies.;
