Definition : Sutures, especially coronal and sagittal, are abnormally wide on a radiograph. Suggests
increased intracranial pressure; most commonly caused by hydrocephalus, but may also
be subdural hematoma, tumor, asbscess, meningitis, encephalitis, and malnourishment.;
