Definition : [BI-RADS] Mammo/MR: Circumscribed masses that are reniform and ahve hilar fat. they are generally 1 cm or small in size (but may be larger than 1 cm and characterized as normal when fat replacement is pronounced) and frequently occur in the upper portions of the breast closer to the axilla, although tey may occur anywhere in the breast. They are often seen adjacent to a vein. US: Circumscribed, oval masses with hypoechoic cortices and echogenic fatty hila, often reniform and containing hilar fat; most commonly seen int eh upper outer quadrant (especially the axillary tail); usually 3mm to 1cm.;
