Database (PID), where each pathway is dependent on the activity of serine/threonine-protein
kinase mTOR. This kinase is part of 2 structurally and functionally distinct signaling
complexes, mTOR complex 1 and 2 (mTORC1 and mTORC2, respectively), which together
regulate the expression of genes that respond to cellular exposure to hormones, growth
factors, nutrients and stress signals.;
