NCIt definition : A lesion in which the neoplastic epithelial cells invade into but not through the
capsule that surround the neoplasm, or invade the entire thickness of the capsule,
or invade vessels surrounding the capsule. Unlike widely invasive lesions, the minimally
invasive lesions cannot be recognized as carcinomas on clinical and surgical grounds.
The diagnosis can only be established microscopically.;
