component. It occurs in the uterine corpus, cervix, and uterine ligaments. A variant
of adenomyoma associated with glandular architectural complexity is called atypical
polypoid adenomyoma. Simple polypectomy is usually curative. Atypical polypoid adenomyoma
may recur following polypectomy.;
