the bite of a deer fly. In temporary residents of endemic areas, the most common clinical

Infected permanent residents of endemic areas typically manifest eye disease related
to wandering of the adult worm. Encephalopathy, cardiomyopathy, and renal disease
are related to microfilaraemia.;
