NCIt definition : A Burkitt lymphoma that arises from the head and neck region. In patients with endemic Burkitt lymphoma, the jaws and other facial bones are usually affected. In patients with sporadic Burkitt lymphoma, the gingiva, orbit, and Waldeyer ring are usually affected. In patients with immunodeficiency-related Burkitt lymphoma, the lymph nodes are usually affected.;
