NCIt note : The CCNO gene product was originally thought to encode a protein with uracil-DNA glycosylase
(UDG) activity and assigned the synonyms UNG2 and UDG2. It was later determined that
this gene product does not exhibit UDG activity and it was confirmed to be a member
