Upon binding and internalization, the cytotoxic agent is released and kills SEZ6-expressing
tumor cells through an as of yet undisclosed mechanism. SEZ6, overexpressed in certain
cancers while minimally expressed in normal tissues, may play a role in cell-cell
recognition and in neuronal membrane signaling.;
