" /> TLR7 Agonist CAN1012 - CISMeF

Preferred Label : TLR7 Agonist CAN1012;

NCIt definition : A Toll-like receptor type 7 (TLR 7) agonist, with potential immunostimulating and antineoplastic activities. Upon intratumoral (IT) administration, TLR7 agonist CAN1012 targets, binds to and activates TLR7, thereby activating TLR7-mediated pathways. This stimulates the maturation and activation of antigen-presenting cells (APCs), including dendritic cells (DCs). Activation of DCs results in the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and the activation of cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL)- and B-lymphocyte-mediated immune responses. This may lead to tumor cell lysis. TLR7, a member of the TLR family, plays a fundamental role in the activation of the innate immune system, myeloid cell responses and tumor antigen presentation.;
