Preferred Label : Antibody-drug Conjugate YL201;
NCIt synonyms : ADC YL201;
NCIt definition : An antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of an as of yet undisclosed monoclonal antibody
against a tumor-associated antigen (TAA) linked, via a tumor microenvironment activable
linker (TMALIN) to a currently undisclosed cytotoxic agent, with potential antineoplastic
activity. Upon intravenous administration, the monoclonal antibody moiety of YL201
targets and binds to the TAA expressed on tumor cells. Upon binding and internalization,
the cytotoxic agent is released and kills the TAA-expressing cancer cells, through
an unknown mechanism of action. The TMALIN linker becomes activated within the TME
and releases the cytotoxic agent through an as of yet not disclosed mechanism.;
