NCIt related terms : DCE;

NCIt definition : A magnetic resonance (MR) imaging technique that allows assessment of the hemodynamic properties of a tissue, represented by regional blood volume (vascular density), flow, and vascular permeability (blood vessel leakiness). An intravenous contrast bolus is injected and rapidly repeated T1 imaging is obtained. Regional increased signal (T1 shortening) reflects both intravascular gadolinium (true perfusion), and accumulation of gadolinium in the extravascular space (permeability).;
