NCIt definition : Innate immune cells in the lymphoid lineage that do not express recombination-activating
genes (RAGs), T-cell or B-cell receptors, or any myeloid or dendritic cell markers.
There are several subtypes of innate lymphoid cells (ILC): group 1 ILC express TBX21
and Th1 cytokines, group 2 ILC produce type 2 cytokines, group 3 ILC produce interleukin-17A
(IL-17A) and/or IL-22 and lymphoid tissue inducer cells (LTi cells) do not express
CD3 but do express IL-7, CD45, CD4 and a large number of additional markers.;
