NCIt definition : A radioconjugate consisting of the neurotensin receptor type 1 (NTR1) antagonist, IPN01087 (3BP-227), that is linked, via the chelating agent, dodecanetetraacetic acid (DOTA), to the beta-emitting radioisotope lutetium Lu 177, with potential antineoplastic activity and imaging activity during positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT). Upon administration, lutetium Lu 177 zalsenertant tetraxetan binds to NTR1 expressed on certain tumor cells. Upon binding and internalization, this radioconjugate specifically delivers a cytotoxic dose of beta radiation to NTR1-expressing cells. NTR1, a G-protein coupled receptor, is highly expressed in ductal pancreatic adenocarcinoma but not in normal pancreatic tissue.;
