EGFR variant III (EGFRvIII). This prevents EGFR-mediated signaling, thereby inhibiting
EGFR-dependent tumor cell proliferation. EGFR, a receptor tyrosine kinase, is often
overexpressed on the cell surfaces of various solid tumor cell types.;
