distallicus. Distamycin preferentially binds to adenine-thymine (A-T) rich sequences
in the minor groove of DNA, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and RNA transcription.
In addition to antitumor effects, distamycin also possesses antiviral and antiprotozoal
