Originally developed by Cella, et al. in 1997, it combines the 27-item Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy - General (FACT-G), which is divided into five subscales: physical, social/family, emotional, and functional well-being, with a Taxane subscale that combines the 11-item Neurotoxicity subscale and 5 additional questions assessing symptoms related to arthralgia, myalgia, and skin discoloration.;
