NCIt definition : HLA-DR15 antigen is a set of polymorphic glycoprotein complexes encoded by the human HLA-DRA and HLA-DRB1 genes. This protein complex is involved in the presentation of antigens to CD4 T lymphocytes.;

NCIt note : HLA-DR15 alpha subunit is encoded by the HLA-DRA*01 allele. The beta subunit is polymorphic and can be encoded by HLA-DRB1*1501, HLA-DRB1*1502, HLA-DRB1*1503, HLA-DRB1*1504, HLA-DRB1*1505 or HLA-DRB1*1507.;
