weed indigenous to the Caribbean, Central and South America and has similar rosette
stage structures as COMMON RAGWEED. It contains sesquiterpene lactones including parthenin
which is poisonous to grazing animals and allergenic and irritant, causing Parthenium
dermatitis in humans.;
