LOINC description : The Osteoporosis Index of Risk (OSIRIS) is a simple questionnaire to identify osteoporosis risk and facilitate bone mineral density (BMD) testing. OSIRIS is based on four variables: age, body weight, current estrogen use, and history of previous low impact fracture. The score is calculated by -0.2*age plus( ) 0.2* weight in kg plus( ) current estrogen use plus( ) prior low impact fracture.
