surface membrane expression of alpha chains CD11a, CD11b, and CD11c. Testing is performed
for the diagnosis of leukocyte adhesion deficiency syndrome type 1 (LAD-1), an autosomal
recessive disorder caused by mutations in the common chain (CD18) of the beta2-integrin
