LOINC status : ACTIVE;

LOINC display name : Maximum amplitude ADP induced Resonance TEG (Bld) [Length];

LOINC long common name : Maximum amplitude ADP induced [Length] in Blood by Resonance TEG;

LOINC short name : MA ADP Bld Res TEG;

LOINC description : The maximum clot strength in the presence of adenosine diphosphate, as measured by the amplitude of resonance of the blood meniscus as the blood sample clots. In this test, thrombin activity is blocked, and adenosine diphosphate (ADP) is used to activate platelets in order to measure the clot strength based on platelet activation by ADP, which result is used to determine the relative contribution of ADP-induced platelet activation [LOINC: 91128-9] to the overall clot strength [LOINC: 91125-5]. This term was created for, but is not limited in use to, the Submitter's test kit, the TEG6s PlateletMapping ADP Assay Cartridge for heparinized blood.;
