Preferred Label : Maximum clot strength amplitude.kaolin induced after addition of heparinase:Len:Pt:Bld:Qn:Thromboelastography.resonance;

LOINC status : ACTIVE;

LOINC display name : Maximum amplitude kaolin induced after addition of heparinase Resonance TEG (Bld) [Length];

LOINC long common name : Maximum amplitude kaolin induced [Length] in Blood by Resonance TEG --after addition of heparinase;

LOINC short name : MA kaolin P Hpase Bld Res TEG;

LOINC description : The maximum clot strength in the presence of kaolin and heparinase, as measured by the amplitude of resonance of the blood meniscus as the blood sample clots. In this test, heparinase neutralizes any heparin present in the sample so that thrombin activity is not blocked; the combination of kaolin and thrombin stimulates maximum platelet activity and clot generation, which is used as a baseline measure of maximum clot strength potential. This term was created for, but is not limited in use to, the Submitter's test kit, the TEG6s PlateletMapping ADP Assay Cartridge for heparinized blood.;
