individualization. Koster et. al. (2009) reported a systematic deviation in blood
levels of everolimus (30% lower) measured by LC-MS/MS compared with immunoassays.[PMID:
19065123] Everolimus may be used to treat patients post transplant (e.g, kidney transplant)
or with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) who have subependymal giant cell astrocytoma
(SEGA). Maintaining everolimus troughs between 3-8 ng/mL is recommended for patients
post transplant. Maintaining trough levels of 5 to 15 ng/mL is recommended in pediatric
and adult patients with SEGA.;
