LOINC description : This term was created for (but not limited to) Euroimmun's ANA Screen ELISA (IgG) test kit, a semi-quantitative in vitro assay of a pool of human nuclear autoantibodies (IgG) against ten different antigens, including double-stranded DNA (dsDNA), histones, ribosomal P-proteins, nRNP, Sm, SS-A, SS-B, Scl-70, Jo-1 and centromeres. Semi-quantitative results are determined by the ratio of the extinction of the calibrator (cut-off) to the extinction of control or patient samples. A ratio of 1.0 or greater is a positive result, which is associated conditions such as Sharp syndrome (MCTD), Systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, Progressive systemic sclerosis, and Poly-dermatomyositis.;
