ICD-11 definition : Congenital syphilis presenting after two years of age and often not until many years later. Saddle nose and peg-shaped (Hutchinson's) teeth are pathognomonic. As in late acquired syphilis, gummata, periostitis, optic atrophy, deafness, paralysis and dementia may develop when treatment is delayed.;
