ICD-11 definition : Infantile acne usually presents at 3–6 months of age but has been reported as late
as 16 months. Male infants are affected more commonly than females and there may be
a history of severe acne in one or more parents. It may last up to the age of five
years. Both comedonal and inflammatory acne with papules, pustules and nodules may
be seen; scarring may result.;
