This disease is characterized by fever, cough, coryza, conjunctivitis, enanthema, or maculopapular rash, without any additional secondary pathological conditions. Transmission is by inhalation of infected respiratory secretions, or direct contact. Confirmation is by detection of Morbillivirus RNA, or detection measles-specific IgM antibodies.;
