ICD-11 definition : Cauliflower ear is the end result of fibrosis of the skin and soft tissues of the pinna following a traumatic subperichondrial haematoma, usually due to trauma. It manifests as permanent swelling and deformity of the ear, described as resembling a cauliflower. It is found most commonly amongst men involved in contact sports such as boxing, wrestling, martial arts and rugby football.;
