or not. Clinically, the disease combines variable proportions of clinical signs of
metachromatic leucodystrophy (arylsulfatase A deficiency), mucopolysaccharidoses (types
II, IIIA, IIID and VI are due to sulfatase deficiencies) and X-linked ichtyosis (steroid-sulfatase
deficiency).;
