ICD-11 definition : The cutaneous eruption which is the presenting manifestation in the majority of cases of Lyme borreliosis. It is characterised by an expanding annular erythematous plaque at the site of inoculation of Borrelia burgdorferi spirochaetes by infected Ixodes ticks. It is initially singular but may be followed by multiple expanding plaques.;
