ICD-11 definition : This describes an uncommon developmental defect resulting from fusion of a group of adjacent hair follicles such that multiple hairs from a composite follicular structure emerge through a single pilosebaceous canal. Multigeminate follicles occur mainly on the face, especially along the lines of the jaw. Tufts of hair may be seen emerging from a few or many follicles.;
