ICD-11 definition : This is considered to be an atrophic variant of morphoea. One or more round or oval
patches of atrophic skin measuring up to many centimetres in diameter develop insidiously
and without symptoms, usually in the second or third decade of life. The patches are
smooth, slate-coloured or violet brown, and are slightly depressed below the level
of the entirely normal surrounding skin. The back is almost always involved, the chest
and abdomen frequently, and the proximal parts of the limbs occasionally. The patches
extend very slowly, increase in number for 10 years or more, and then usually persist
unchanged.;
